about

Heskîf is a spontaneous improvisation of Marta (clarinet), Nicolas (percussion) and Heinzel (prologue synthesizer).

Heskîf (or Hasankeyf) is an ancient town and district located along the Tigris River in the Batman Province in southeastern Turkey.
Much of the city and its archeological sites are at risk of being flooded with the completion of the Ilisu Dam.

Besides the jam and recordings from our balcony it includes a violin and second synth overdub.

Here is another dialogue of the documentary "Erdogan builds thousands of dams, why?" translated to English:

"Is this seat taken?" "Have a seat."
"Welcome." "How are you?"
"Help us prevent the construction of the dam, to preserve Hasankeyf." "Why?"
"Because of the old monuments." "Yes, it's a very old town." "Very old." "Are you from Hasankeyf?" "Yes. Just like my father and grandfather."

Fließgewässer Barcelona, Spain

"Fließgewässer" is intentionally mysterious, playful ambient/noise, now rather electroacoustic music originated from random conversations on a generally uncertain future that obliges to improvise always.

Usually playing live or at least motivated to do so. Info: krimskramz.com/fliessgewaesser/
